A model from the University of Washington's Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation now predicts almost 231-thousand US Covid-19 deaths by November.

The University increased its prediction of the number of fatalities from a week ago by 11-thousand.

The University of Washington says the current number of fatalities in the US has them increasing their predictions.

More than four and a half million Americans have been diagnosed with Covid-19 and more than hundred 150-thousand have died because of it.

This map shows the nation's current coronavirus hotspots based on data from Johns Hopkins University.

University of Washington researchers say the death toll would top out below 200-thousand if people committed to wearing masks.

But that's not always happening.

The coronavirus pandemic, which has infected nearly four-and-a-half million Americans according to John Hopkins University, has also crippled the economy.
